We all know the stereotypical DJ - middle-aged men in jeans and t-shirts playing to sweaty clubs while guzzling vodka.

But DJ LORA isn't a stereotypical DJ.

Having inherited a love of music from her father - Olympian, stuntman, singer and one of the first owners of Ibiza's superclub Manumission - DJ Lora set about learning her trade as a respected club DJ, and carving out a niche as one of the most exciting disc-spinners around.

In fact, she's breaking the mould in every way possible and setting dancefloors alight as she travels the world on DJ assignments from Hong Kong to Miami.

The celebrated rabble-rouser's celebrity fans include Sir Paul McCartney, Pete Tong, Will Young, Ralph Fiennes and Simon Le Bon,
who personally booked her for his 50th birthday party.

The glamorous musician might insist on wearing designer dresses and ball-gowns behind the decks, but don't be fooled into thinking she's all style over substance. In fact, Lora's immense DJing ability has helped her leave the competition in her wake. She was the soul female entrant to the Movida Corona DJing Competition and waltzed off with the trophy - and she's never looked back.

DJ Lora has sinced enjoyed residencies and one-off shows at uber-cool London venues including Shoreditch House, Aura, Funky Buddah and Maddox. And she's no stranger to hard dance clubs either, with slots at The Egg, The End, Ministry of Sound and SE1 under her designer belt.

And she's also spun the discs at clubs all over the world, including at the Miami World Music Conference and to over 2,000 people at MTV's Lanzarote Cave Party.

But DJ Lora's more than just a DJ - she's an expert disc spinner, for sure, but she's also a leading DJ teacher, a voice for females wanting to break into the male-heavy club world, a producer with tracks alongside The Artful Dodger and a hugely passionate music fan.

DJ Lora is available for interviews and is also a media-friendly expert for all-things DJ, club and music related. And if you've got a set of decks, Lora's available to make sure the speakers bulge with her thumping beats!
