SARAH CAWOOD
Sarah Cawood has become such a familiar fixture on our TV screens over the years, that when we first met her many moons ago, we had to check her skin for pixels.
It's a challenge to find a show the fun-size presenter hasn't been on. In the mid-Nineties, Sarah worked as the cheeky presenter of Nickelodeon UK. And then she became a Britpop pin-up in 1997, when she presented The Girlie Show. And from 1998-2000, she was responsible for a nation of hairbrush warblers, when she brought karaoke to the masses, presenting Night Fever.
Sarah has also presented shows including MTV, Live & Kicking, Top of the Pops and regularly co-presented the midweek and Saturday National Lottery programmes as well as taking on a role as reporter for Richard & Judy, she also co-presented BBC3's Comic Relief Does Fame Academy and the semi-finals of the Eurovision Song Contest 2007, 2009 and 2010 and has presented That's The Question on Challenge since 2007, as well as ITV2's Blind Date - Kiss and Tell, VH1's Live Open Darts Championships, live from America, music show UK Jack and braved the spiders (and Ant and Dec) to be the jungle reporter for This Morning's I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here.
If your eyes aren't already bleeding from this extensive list of telly box shows, we'd like to add that she also presented the Essential series for the Travel Channel, Wedding TV's Love Is Blind and The Real Ugly Betty, Virgin 1's Terminator: Behind the Scenes and narrated ITV1's Daily Cook's Challenge and BBC1's Clash, Sponsor Voice, ITV1's Soundtrack of My Life, Sky1's Gladiators Ready! The Gladiators' Story, The Most Annoying Couples, TV's 50 Hardest Men, Hole in the Wall, My Big, Fat Wedding and Ultimate Girls' Night In!
As Sarah's fans know, she has opinions on everything and her chatter suggests she has mastered the art of circular breathing. And that's why she's a popular panellist on shows like Angela and Friends, Loose Women, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, The Wright Stuff, Ready, Steady, Cook and Strictly Come Dancing - It Takes Two, Inside Celebrity, Big Brother's Little Brother, BB's Big Mouth, Bullseye, It's Not What You Know and took part in BBC's Celebrity Scissorhands for Children in Need. She has also appeared as the hidden celebrity in CBBC's Hider in the House and Through The Keyhole and Celebrity Masterchef.
And she's one lady you can't flap, as she proved when Fathers 4 Justice invaded the studio while she was presenting The National Lottery Jet Set, alongside Eamonn Holmes. Not even Anne Robinson could make her quiver, which is why she won Celebrity Weakest Link in 2007.
The fiery-follicled star has even turned her versatile hand to acting, appearing in Velvet Goldmine opposite Ewan McGregor and appearing in the West End in Phantom of the Opera as a ballerina. Although the cheeky pirouetter got into bother when she appeared on C4's A Royal Ballet School Girl Gone Bad, for skiving her tutu-bothering classes to mosh at various gigs instead.
And it's this love of music which has seen her presenting ITV1 and ITV2's coverage of the V Festivals at Reading and Leeds and introducing Feeder to the stage at a Warchild gig.
She's also a good egg who is not afraid to break a sweat for cheeridy, which is why she joined celebrities including Cliff Richard and Olivia Newton-John for The Great Walk to Beijing to raise money for cancer care, as well as The Race For Life and she’s currently stomping all over London, preparing for The Playtex Moonwalk for Breakthrough Breastcancer with her team, The Boobie Dazzlers.
And we're chuffed to biscuits to be PRing the Lillliputian beauty, who has proved that size really isn't everything: The tiny star is massive on the small screen.
