SPINDLE AND WIT:

Spindle and Wit are an incredibly gifted and infuriatingly young five-piece whose live shows have been creating a stir in the music industry.

The London folk-pop noiseniks were immediately picked up by The Fly magazine as 'Ones To Watch', and Big City Redneck said these kind words about them: "The timing's perfect; Hot on the heels of Noah & The Whale's success last summer, the baton's ready for Spindle and Wit to take over the commercial folk crown - and Bring Out The Sun could just be the summer anthem we've waited for all year."

We couldn't wait that long and immediately took on the band and are busily setting the wheels in motion for their eagerly-awaited single release in the new year.

And they're not just popular on this side of the pond - we recently joined them on a sell-out tour of New York, where fans were clamoring to get a taste of London's finest export.

Formed barely a year ago, the band already has a huge fan-base. And they've been showered with praise from NME, The Fly and national papers including The Sun and The Daily Star.

The band has something for everybody. Searing originality, gritty and intelligent lyrics which belie their tender years, foot-stomping hits and moving ballads, as well as violins, banjos, cellos, guitars, drums and buckets of charisma.

And the time to take their music to the masses has arrived: 2010 is certain to be the year of Spindle and Wit.

But don't take our word for it. Head here to listen to their aural awesomeness:
