Discreetly hidden behind a modest door on Shaftesbury Avenue, is London's best-kept secret - exclusive private member's club Century, boasting four floors of quirky and chic facilities, including three cocktail bars, a screening room, restaurant and the largest rooftop terrace in Soho.

Since opening in 2001, Century has provided a calm oasis from the bustling West End to more than 2000 members who dine, meet, work or entertain in the historic building, which effortlessly transforms from workspace and fashionable retreat to late-night venue – a real home away from home.

Century is named after the 100 steps to its stunning roof terrace – easily swerved via the lift – which now boasts a retractable glass canopy and provides breath-taking views across the West End and London’s iconic skyline, for a refreshing cocktail or al fresco dinner in a picture-perfect setting.

A long-time favourite of the capital’s movers and shakers in the arts, media and entertainment industries, Century’s members range from media industry leaders, celebrities, musicians, producers, film makers, actors, artists and entrepreneurs.

The club’s range of versatile and voguish spaces serve everything from lavish parties to informal gatherings, product launches, brand experiences and as a licensed wedding venue, it provides an extraordinary destination for ceremonies and receptions with a difference. With flexibility at the core of the club’s ethos, staff are committed to delivering flawless hospitality and entertainment.

The main restaurant on the Roof Terrace, is run by Executive Chef Ghani Ould-Rabah, who has worked in some of the most celebrated Michelin- starred restaurants, including Hakkasan, Viajante and Ottolenghi. Ghani is a third-generation Chef, originally from North Africa, who was classically trained in the South of France, with Japanese influences from his time working under Executive Chef, Yoshihiro Murata at Chysan and trips to Kyoto.

Chef Ghani is passionate about sourcing top quality, local ingredients for his modern British cuisine, with intense flavours inspired by his Middle Eastern heritage.

The Cocktail Lounge provides a wonderfully eccentric and luxurious setting for intimate dinners, meetings or cocktail parties, while the French Bistro inspired Tap Room provides exceptional cocktails or an intimate dinner setting, with views across the neighbouring, historic church garden and Shaftesbury Avenue.

The Green Room is a multi-functional blank canvas with AV, exposed brickwork and in-house engineer to accommodate everything from product launches and screenings, to exhibitions, parties and much more.

Members also benefit from a vibrant and varied schedule of social events, such as the Club’s monthly Cigar Club, monthly tastings, regular talks, screenings and cabaret nights or The Grooming Room where members are entitled to free pampering, treatments and a work hub during fashion week, as well as access to their legendary parties.
